Providing some dimensions and information about preferences also helps us understand your idea. We help make this process as easy as possible by providing a form with some prompts to get you started.

SITE SURVEY
As part of the initial information gathering process, we provide a complimentary site survey, in order to ensure delivery access and fitment and because we like to get to know our customers! Most stand-alone furniture pieces don’t require a survey but for anything over 7’ long and for all built-in projects, we will take precise measurements of entries and the installation space to ensure everything delivers safely and fits perfectly.

WE WRITE UP AN ESTIMATE
Once we understand your project, we require a nominal design deposit to provide a detailed and accurate estimate based on your project’s materials and labor costs. This design fee goes towards your final invoice. As part of your estimate, we create a 3D model to both confirm all of your design details and provide a helpful glimpse of your finished project. We’ll work with you to optimize your estimate and adjust project details until we reach your design and budget goals. As needed, we will perform a site visit to assure proper fit for built-in and free-standing furniture, and confirm delivery clearance considerations.

WE BUILD IT
With your approval on an estimate and design, we’ll move to the building stage. A deposit of 50% to cover materials ensures your project moves forward with high priority. All production at Mount Westby Made is overseen by owner and founder Greg Westby, ensuring optimal quality control and impeccable attention to detail.

WE SHIP/DELIVER/INSTALL IT
Some on-site assembly or installation is usually necessary, except for free-standing furniture items that can easily pass from outside your home to their destination in one piece. Our on-site installation work is always completed with the utmost consideration for cleanliness and minimum disturbance to your home. We deliver and install furniture, built-ins and other projects in the greater New York City area- New York State, New Jersey, and beyond, and ship smaller household items throughout the US.
